Green House GH-USD16K USB LCD Monitor 0 komentar

Green House GH-USD16K USB LCD Monitor
Green House GH-USD16K is one of the few monitors that use a USB connection instead of VGA / DVI which can be used as an additional monitor. As we know, the advantage of using USB than the graphics card as the connection because it is usually easier to have the rest of the USB port than the port VGA / DVI, especially if you’ve talked to want to have a monitor to-3 and so on.

Green House GH-USD16K can be connected to 6 units a computer monitor into a computer but of course you have adequate specifications as implied by the Green House:

* 1-2 monitor: min. Single Core 1.2GHz CPU, 512MB or more memory
* 3-4 monitor: min. Single Core CPU 1.6GHz, 1GB or more memory
* 5-6 monitor: min. Core Duo 1.8GHz CPU, 1GB or more memory

Green House GH-USD16K has a 15.6-inch screen sizes (wide, 1366 × 768) but is on the one hand, a monitor with a USB connection screen rather have a specification under the standard monitor, such as response time of only 16 ms (normal is 5 ms) , and 400:1 contrast ratio. The low specification is quite understandable considering the limited resources that can be provided by the USB connection, but its advantages, this monitor only consumes power at 5 watts when in use. Price Green House GH-USD16K for $215.

LG 37LE5300 Television Review–A Fairly Attractive Model 0 komentar

LG 37LE5300 Television Review–A Fairly Attractive Model
Last week we gave you some low-priced hardware to have a look at, and this week we’re going to step it up a notch by checking out some of the higher end LED televisions out there. But fear not, for some relatively decent deals will still be on hand here to boot. We start our journey with a look at the LG 37LE5300.

The LG 37LE5300 is a thirty seven inch 1080p LED television that offers TruMotion 120hz to reduce blurring in high speed shots, Smart Energy Savings to keep your power bill down, Intelligent Sensor to automatically adjust settings according to conditions, two ten watt speakers, an AV mode to further adjust settings according to specifics, 24p Real Cinema mode, Clear Voice II to improve dialogue, Dolby Digital decoders, four HDMI ports, two component inputs, two composite inputs, an RF input, a PC input, a PC audio input, a USB port, an optical digital audio output, and a headphone jack.

Lots of great stuff in this one, with just as much room for your new components as the old ones. The video is pretty good quality, though a little on the smallish side at thirty seven inches, and the sound isn’t the best but ten watts with a Dolby Digital decoder backing the play still isn’t bad. There’s a lot to like here and plenty of good value.

The price may be a little more than you’ll want to pay at right around eight hundred bucks, and you can do better, but the quality should be there–at least I thought it was pretty solid.

The LG 37LE5300 won’t be mistaken for the best value on the market, but it will do a nice job of supplying what you want in a television.

Haier HL32D2 Television Review–Solid If Unspectacular 0 komentar

Haier HL32D2 Television
We carry on with our look at inexpensive televisions just ahead of Black Friday by taking a look at the Haier HL32D2, and you’ll be surprised that a television that doesn’t cost so much can still provide a decent value.

The Haier HL32D2 is a thirty two inch 720p LCD television that offers two ten watt speakers, AVL auto volume leveler systems to keep the volume stable for those times when you suddenly go from a quiet television show to the screeching horror that is some commercials, an AV input, two component inputs, two HDMI inputs, and a USB input. which provide a simple solution for high quality audio and video input. The USB input can be used for audio and digital pictures. Included with the TV is a full function remote control and swivel stand.

Thankfully, the picture on this one is pretty nice–nothing great, of course, 720p prevents anything really fantastic. And the sound quality isn’t the greatest either but the auto volume system is definitely a welcome addition.

Considering that the Haier HL32D2 is selling for $343.38 out at Amazon, it’s not at all surprising that it’s not a top-notch piece, but it’s at least fairly decent.

So if you’re looking for a new television, are very price-conscious, and don’t mind settling for a little less in the quality department, then the Haier HL32D2 might be just what you’re after.

VIZIO shows unannounced 65-inch passive 3D glasses on their website 0 komentar

For some reason, this particular 65-inch Theater 3D LCD HDTV has shown up on VIZIO’s website.

The screen is polarized for use of passive 3D glasses, which are ones that movie theaters use. These are cheaper than the battery powered shutter glasses.

There has been no official announcement, which is very crazy. However, I’m sure we’ll here more about this in time. The rumored price is to be about $3,699.

HP rolls out four new LCD monitors, three are 1080p 0 komentar

While we pine for the days of large 16:10 panels, we have to admit Hewlett-Packard knows how to craft a sleek-looking 16:9. This week, the electronics manufacturer launched four new no-nonsense LCD screens at the movie-friendly aspect ratio, the HP 2010i, 2210m, 2310m and 2710m. While the first two digits of each alphanumeric reflect its diagonal screen size (except for the 2210m, which is apparently 21.5 inches across), the 'i' designation apparently reflects the fact that you're getting a sub-par 1600 x 900 resolution and DVI / VGA inputs, when the other three monitors also display HDMI content in full 1080p. All four panels have reasonably low response times, embedded 2W speakers and 1000:1 contrast ratios, and at their current prices ($180, $220, $260 and a likely $350-$400, respectively) all will likely make suitable choices if you're in the market for an above-average computer screen. Us? We'll make do with old Dell products while we wait for the company's wallpaper model.

It's time, the LCD All Watching You! 0 komentar

If you are watching what is usually only available in LCD display, now not been able to precisely the opposite, where you are in so that the objects spectacle of the LCD itself. Wuah, how can yah?

Recently, Eizo Nanao announced on Sense EcoView features contained in the FlexScan monitor, with the type size EV2023W EV2303W 20-inch and 23 inch sizes. In contrast to the usual monitors, this is precisely monitors who watch you. This monitor will detect whether there is movement in front of it, this monitor is able to detect whether there are people who are in front of him.

eizo_flexscan_sensor

If over 40 seconds, no anyone in front of it, the monitor will turn into sleep mode. And will return to normal if there are people who were back in front. Proximity detection can be reached by this monitor is a 1.2 meters. I was so sophisticated, was eventually able to walk off the monitor EPEAT Gold award from the TCO Display 5.0 Certification for having created this great product.

EV2023W FlexScan monitor is equipped with a VA panel with 1600 × 900 resolution and 3000:1 ratio. While for the monitor type has its own EV2303W TN panel with 1920 × 1080 resolution and 1000:1 ratio. Both these monitors have a brightness level of 250 cd/m2 and supplemented with VGA and DVI-D inputs.

According to Eizo own party, they intentionally wanted to introduce a thinner design and reduce the less important components in it. In addition, this monitor is said to save more energy than a regular LCD.

LG W2353 monitor 0 komentar

Monitor manufacturers have cottoned on to the fact that home users are spending just as much time watching video and playing games as typing documents and browsing the web. For this reason, most now incorporate various optimisation features designed to tailor the screen for specific environments, but few have gone quite as far as LG with its new W53 HD series.

The 23-inch version on test (the only model available in the UK, though rumour has it a 27-inch model will hit our shores later in the year) features a tidy enough piano-black design with a tilt stand and connectivity that includes HDMI, DVI-D and D-Sub. It’s a Full HD screen so is capable of 1080p resolution (1920 x 1080) at 16:9 aspect and offers a range of touch-sensitive controls to access the plethora of optimisation features available.

Perhaps the most useful of these is the Auto Bright function, which uses a built-in light sensor to analyse ambient conditions and adjust the backlight to optimum levels. This not only reduces eyestrain but is also kinder to the environment, since the screen isn’t pumping out unnecessary light. Elsewhere a "time control" feature alerts you to take a break when you’ve been working for a selected amount of time, and the control lights stay dark when not in use to reduce distraction, with a proximity sensor switching them on when a hand goes near.

One particularly interesting addition is the Cinema Mode. This is a separate installable application and allows you to draw a box around, most typically, a currently playing video, at which point the surrounding area is dimmed to draw focus to the content. This actually works very well, though in a practical environment it’d be used infrequently unless you’re very easily distracted. In addition to this all of the controls available on-screen are also available through a separate application, which may be preferable when experimenting.

Aside from these headline features, manual controls are available for screen adjustment, the screen can be switched to 4:3 to prevent video from being stretched and photographers can benefit from colour effects such as Gaussian blur, sepia and monochrome for effective editing.

Finally, a set of presets is available for movie, internet, game and custom environments via LG’s f-ENGINE optimisation technology.

This massive array of features is available via the touch-sensitive controls and though these are pretty well laid out, suffer a little from an inherent problem with this choice of operation, and until you get used to the layout expect to squint down at the screen to find the right button and multiple mashes with a thumb or finger are sometimes necessary to get a response.

Clearly it seems as though LG has prepared the W53 as a versatile all-rounder and the series ticks just about all boxes when it comes to modern advancements and conveniences. Luckily most of these work very well too, and features such as the Auto Bright and present environments do seem to make a distinct difference.

The display image is extremely clean and crisp and provided you remember to switch modes depending on the task at hand, can make a noticeable, improved difference when gaming or watching video. A 2ms response time means that fast-action clips are rendered very well, and our only real problem in terms of performance is that while black levels are very good, colours are often oversaturated which makes subtle hues difficult to distinguish. This can be improved somewhat by tweaking the manual controls, and though it’s rarely a problem until you get to HD video resolutions, we’ve seen better performance in this area elsewhere.

Compaq Q2009 LCD Monitor 0 komentar

Design

HP's Compaq Q2009 design is extremely pedestrian, but you'd expect that for a monitor in this price range. Its 20-inch LCD sits in a slightly rounded bezel with controls that run down the lower right-hand side. The stand is small, squat and plastic with a total tilt range of 30 degrees — 5 degrees forwards and 25 backwards. As with the recently reviewed HP 2309m, the monitor sits rather low on the average desk, and for most office working situations you'd be well served to place it on a thick phone book to ensure you're not craning your neck downwards at an awkward angle. At least that'll give you a use for phone books in this day and age, which is nice.
Features

The 20-inch LCD panel in the Q2009 has a top resolution of 1600x900 with a claimed contrast of 1000:1 and brightness of 300cd/m². Refresh rate is stated at 5ms, which very clearly marks this out as a productivity screen, not a gaming or video one. That's an observation that's confirmed by the fact that the Q2009 only has two inputs — and one of those is for audio. This is a D-Sub input only monitor, and that means it's never going to be the most thrilling in terms of visual fidelity.
Performance

The Q2009 shares the similar HP 2309m's menu layout, and this means that it uses a single button to bring up either viewing modes, volume levels or correction menus, with the other buttons then being used for up, down and selection duties. It's no doubt a cheaper way to wire a set of buttons for HP, but at the user end we find it a bit fiddly for practical use, as you've got to perform extra button presses for simple tasks such as audio selection.

On the audio front, there's a simple word that can be used to describe the Q2009's bottom mounted speaker: tinny. For website sounds and the odd bit of YouTube viewing it might just be passable, but it's unsuitable for any kind of nuanced music or gameplay function.

Over D-Sub we weren't expecting the Q2009 to do much to impress us in DisplayMate's tests, and indeed it didn't. Colours weren't particularly crisp, and greyscale reproduction topped out a little low, but it would be unrealistic to expect anything else. Gaming and video tests gave us the same essentially murky outlook, but again that's going to be par for the course over this kind of connection. It's certainly not unwatchable, but there are a lot of better panels out there, generally at higher starting RRPs.

The Q2009 is an absolute case of getting what you pay for. If you need a screen to plonk yourself in front of for text reading or web page viewing, it's fine for that task. If you want video, gaming or genuine colour reproduction, it's not fine for that task, and it's priced entirely appropriately.

The Philips 42PES0001 0 komentar

Following closely on the heels of Sony, the people at Philips have developed a new, thin HDTV which looks like a picture frame, allowing it to be hung on walls to provide 52-inch, 1080p LCD HDTV entertainment almost anywhere you want it. The new Philips 42PES0001 is one of the slimmest HDTV frames we’ve seen, measuring only 21mm in thickness. With a connectivity hub, you will only need to run a single cable to your HDTV, which transmits all of the necessary video, audio and power, thereby avoiding any unsightly tangled cables. Of course, if you so choose, you may mount your Philips HDTV on a stand instead of on the wall.

The dedicated 2x 15W speaker bar at the bottom of the set will give you great sound, or you can connect your own sound system and leave the speaker bar in the box. The Philips Perfect Pixel HD Engine that comes with the Philips 42PES0001 can process 500 million pixels per second, and 2250 trillion colors, which is more than enough to deliver incredible improvements in image quality, providing sharper pictures, incredible color and reduced noise. The 1080p LCD screen provides a phenomenal 2ms response time, and with a 66,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, you’ll get excellent picture quality as well as deep blacks and rich colors.

The 100Hz Clear LCD technology will double the frame rate, providing you with smooth flowing motion and no blurring of the images. DLNA networking has also been incorporated into the unit, allowing it to stream media from other networked devices.

The elegant new Dell Crystal LCD Monitor 0 komentar

The new Dell Crystal LCD Monitor takes some bold new steps forwards in LCD, miniature digital camera and speaker technologies.

Each of the four minimally sized stereo speakers are elegantly designed, protruding from the rear of the glass surface which is so innovative in its design as to give the impression that you are looking at a piece of art, rather than just another flashy monitor. The visible wire traces of all of the electronic wiring, such as for the touch controls, digital camera and speakers, helps to not only add to the elegance of the system’s design, but also gives it an open transparency to the user as to how the monitor operates.
